70th Place Armor Rush Deck
I haven’t touched armor decks since BT8, but I picked this one up the day before the CoreTCG regional and managed to take 70th, so damn it I’m proud and want to show it off!

Idan started playing Devas the week before Nationals, then proceeded to go technically undefeated for the entire run (Because he tied) Until making day 2. When it all shook out Idan took 46th place at the 2023 NA nationals and was the only Deva player to crack the top 64. And I have an interview and deck profile with him!
HOLY CRAP! That was a long day, but I clawed my way to 7th so now I can show off that there is indeed some brewing space left in ShineGreymon!
I'm just going to say it, Hot Take, Agu X isn't that good!
I'd be lying if I didn't say I want to make this the first VoD to go out in the new wave since I finally got to play on my own damn stream. While I personally don't love the ACE mechanic for my own style, this was a fun pre-release and these decks do seem like they're going to introduce some interesting tools for thier respective archetypes; not that any of the different Greymon archetypes need it, and none of it's pieces do anything for Shine so the doom sayers can relax.
And the last one! We're free after this top 16! And it's a TAK regional, so its freaking bizarre! I swear, something about the small player count and this being the Oceania region brings out the weirdness (they had the ONLY Gaomon list to break the top 16)
I always love getting to talk about non-NA events, and this one was extra fun because we had several folks who play in the LATAM region in the chat so we had a chance to discuss why certain choices were made, both meta choices, yeah I still don't really like BT2 ShineGreymon, and those made because of card scarcity.
What on Earth Possesses me to do all three of these in one go?! Well, I did it! First up on the chopping block was the top 16 out of the July 29th PPG Regional!
Gah, I am still a bit annoyed with myself for some of my goofy misplays, I don't know if I could have locked in top 16, but I certainly could have come closer.
It's what is says on the tin, a deck profile of my own Shinegreymon list from the PPG regional.
You know the only thing better than winning your nats invite?
Me either, but your team mate winning thier nats invite off an extremely wild toolbox deck is a pretty dang good feeling!
Right after we confirmed Kris took 11th with his blinged out Royal Knight deck I immediately pinned him down for a deck tech and interview, mostly so I wouldn't forget.
