A poem Cracks in the Sky it's snowing I can just make out skeletal hands, stretching away from naked bodies a patina of dark cracks cascading across the grays and whites of the sky so uniform in it's banal chaos until I grab my glasses bare branches, swaddled in clean, soft, new snow, reach outward and upward divested their autumnal finery, yet still holding the promise of new life, maybe In a new year they're too separate from the unyielding grey to be the cracks in the facade I saw moments before the sky didn't change same grey white uniformity, encompassing my world threatening in unequal measures, danger, beauty, and futility the clarity isn't bad there is honest joy to the dance of flakes, falling from their grey white prison, movement, energy, individuality for a time all too soon they will rest among their fallen sisters I like to imagine it's a comforting rest, well deserved, well earned it's always there the fear that each flake is allowed to dance, to celebrate her freedom for but a short while, before she joins her sisters in the suffocating blanket across the land She may find joy in her fall, but her landing, her corpse, those of her uncounted sisters, all subsumed by the collective 'snow' a grey white downy jacket of corpses, all so the ground might resemble their once prison. I miss the cracks in the sky Bluesky Logo Phenn.gay Twitch and YouTube logos PhennofLore

Cracks in the Sky

Last year, I spent the holidays trying to connect with my partners. We'd been having issues since a kink scene in June where, while pretty deep in pup space, I was rather suddenly rejected and abandoned.

Only Gamers Could Gamify Activism

Visa and MasterCard have made of their own employees the mildly annoying trash mobs farmed as part of a daily quest whose reward is stripping points away from their own, once eldritchian, health bars.

This Is Just a Blog Post Isn’t It?

I started writing this as a sort of follow up to yesterday's story, but wow, I don't want to let that shit keep taking up space in my head.

I'm trying to write more in general, it's something I find too easy to simply put off over and over again until I suddenly realize I haven't posted on my site in a month. It's always felt odd because I enjoy writing. I love feeling the words flow out of me onto the page. (I don't love that I keep having to use my tablet to shoo away wasps!)

Itch.io Made a Home For the Marginalized, Then Discarded Us

Sure, call your reps, see if they answer the phone. But, first, call and email Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Stripe. Tell them, respectfully, those customer service folks didn't do shit to you, what you want and what you will do if you don't get it.

Stop letting white suprematists and Nazis decide what artist is allowed to eat or have a roof over her head because making a phone call or writing an email is hard.

A Foundation of Sand and Mud

At 2 this morning I was laying awake, wracked with period cramps. Sleep refused me so I opened BlueSky, foolishly hoping for a distraction or a book recommendation, when I instead saw a post about an “Economic Blackout” tomorrow. Two minutes of googling confirmed my worst suspicions

70th Place Armor Rush Deck

I haven’t touched armor decks since BT8, but I picked this one up the day before the CoreTCG regional and managed to take 70th, so damn it I’m proud and want to show it off!

Interview with North Americas Top Deva Player Idan

Interview with North Americas Top Deva Player Idan

Idan started playing Devas the week before Nationals, then proceeded to go technically undefeated for the entire run (Because he tied) Until making day 2. When it all shook out Idan took 46th place at the 2023 NA nationals and was the only Deva player to crack the top 64. And I have an interview and deck profile with him!

Dragon of Courage and Wolf of Friendship Pre-Release

I'd be lying if I didn't say I want to make this the first VoD to go out in the new wave since I finally got to play on my own damn stream. While I personally don't love the ACE mechanic for my own style, this was a fun pre-release and these decks do seem like they're going to introduce some interesting tools for thier respective archetypes; not that any of the different Greymon archetypes need it, and none of it's pieces do anything for Shine so the doom sayers can relax.
