Well, turns out doing a whole second Muttday Morning News did make this one a bit lighter at only 3922 words, not counting unscripted bits at the end.
We’ve got TwitchCon news, yup, mostly about Emiru getting assaulted, yes I’ve heard the rumors about who he was, but could not find a trustworthy source confirming it.
We also have comments from Twitch CEO Dan Clancy that seem to be something between half truth and just, entirely unrelated to the situation. Wow, this was a really bold title for a blog post for a con with drink spiking issues as well as a decade of harassment complaints y’all.

I was unaware of Lorenz before this, and uh, This woman seems to have her head on straight, save for the still using X part.
And wouldn’t you know it, Gavin ‘Trump 3.0 Newsom, apparently after ordering his office to close the I-5 (for the record I’m not giving him crap for that, it was the objectively right call) Was also at TwitchCon, I’m sure he felt right at home.
I then had a story on Kim Kardashian’s new product that’s… basically a merkin with less utility.
Which naturally connected to an MTG Universes Beyond Spiderman news story and a Mr. Fred Rogers quote…ok naturally is maybe a strong way of putting it.
We also covered ICE watchers, the banning of the ICE block and Eye’s Up apps being banned from the apple ecosystem as well as Ice and Border Patrol’s particular hatred for man’s best friend.
Though I did also get to some of the best signs I saw from No King’s Marches, plus a bit about the Ceasefire Israel has never abided by, and Trump taking a backhoe to the White House this morning
