We’re here once again to MOSTLY talk about good, or at least… non-catastrophic news this week!
Sure the mad dictator running the US managed to hand Iran a massive swell in trading power, what with their monopoly of the strait of hormuz any military leader could have, and likely did, tell him. But, no, we’re mostly here for fun news this week.
Sure there’s the messed up stuff with Visa and Mastercard pushing ridiculous new rules onto subscribe star, followed by multiple days of revisions, and Aftermath continuing their selective muteness while deciding it was the perfect week to focus on GDC and Red Bull.
But there was some fun news too! Like, did you know there’s a Jurassic Park TCG?
It launched back in July, though only in Korea and has what I can only describe as the ultimate Jurassic Park super fan working for them. Lewis Lee aka Dr Trex, aka John Hammond has YoungCha, the marketing company behind the game, producing love letters to the franchise on every card!
His blog is in Korean, but machine translated Korean isn’t usually too bad, and if you’re here for a Jurassic Park TCG, I think you’ll enjoy his work too.

And this one is specifically about the Starter decks’ art

Oh, and the Game is coming to NA and English!
We’ve also got the kerffuls over at mythic talent which seems to be two very different waves hitting at once.
First, the money skimming allegations from Grimmi, and corroborated by SheefGG, and then removal of the chuddier “talent” from Mythic Talent. At time of writing and recording, it was just Asmongold out for his vile comments on the Iranian school Double Tap. But Kirsche, the wannabe nazi vtuber whose distinctly german name always makes me chuckle with concern when I remember it means cherry stealer, is also out as of this morning. Or, from her own comments, it could be that Mythic is about to pull a Vshojo.
But the good news doesn’t stop there. We’ve got a longer discussion of Slay the Spire 2 and how it’s evolved from its predecessor, rather than wallowing in admittedly great design.
And last but not least we’ve got a bit of rapid fire book recommendations and an invitation to join the #transrightsreadathon 2026. Sure I may find the initially recommended books to be mostly swill, but I’ve got better one’s for you!
Including, Kara Buchanan’s Full Magica Riot series, ebooks and audio books, for sale in an itch bundle for only $30

And while Bee’s recommendations can pretty much stand on their own, I feel like I should link you to the Hades Calculus extended universe reading guide, just so you don’t have to find the skeet yourself.

Oh right, and my own reviews I meant to link. somewhere lost in my host swap, but I do still have the ones for Vyria Durav’s The Dragon and Her Princess and Maria Ying’s The Grace of Sorcerers

I’m also going to utterly eviscerate the utter insult to trans women that is Make Room for Love, and then finish off with a quick discussion of the Digimon TCG Banned and Restricted list update and that wildly busted new Shinegreymon Burst mode coming in BT25.
